The focus of Dr. Miltenberger’s practice is to provide quality preventive care to his patients and to deliver comprehensive health care for their chronic illnesses. ADDICTION TREATMENT

Dr. Miltenberger also specializes in the treatment of Opiate Addiction (including Heroin, Methadone, Oxycontin (oxycodone), Vicodin (hydrocodone), and other similar Painkillers. Our office offers a confidential, safe treatment program, without hospitalization, using the FDA-approved drug Buprenorphine (Suboxone and Subutex).

Dr. Miltenberger is a member of the American Academy of Addiction Psychiatry. He is certified by the DEA (Drug Enforcement Agency) to use Buprenorphine for opiate addiction treatment.

Buprenorphine is a synthetic opiate agonist medication that was approved by the FDA in 2002 for the treatment of opiate addiction. Treatment with Buprenorphine (Suboxone and Subutex) is not right for everyone with an opiate addiction issue.
